PROF. JOSEPH HOPKINS

I'm a historian at Manchester Metropolitan University. My first book, Allies in Memory: World War II and the Politics of Transatlantic Commemoration (Cambridge, 2015) was shortlisted for the Royal Historical Society's Gladstone Prize, and I've provided historically informed expert commentary for various media outlets, including BBC Television, BBC Radio, CNN, Sky News, The Independent, The Manchester Evening News. I'm a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and a former Fulbright Scholar. I'm from Suffolk, but I live in Lancashire and like running up hills. Go figure.
